Karolina Zakrzewska
Karolina has spent 20 years living and working in India as the director of Purple Valley Yoga centre. During her time in Goa, India she studied under her main teacher Rolf Naujokat and other senior Ashtanga teachers.
Her personal healing journey—from struggles with long-term eating disorders and substance use—sparked a deep curiosity about the body’s power to heal. This path led her to explore the strong connection between body and mind, and the many tools we have to support both.
For Karolina, healing is an ongoing process. Yoga and nutrition have become her daily anchors and key pillars of her well-being and a way of nourishing self-love. Today she is dedicated to helping others take charge of their health through lifestyle changes, nutrition and yoga. The intention in this process is to support and love your body no matter of what stage of life you move through, never doubting that change is possible.
Karolina holds a BSc (First Class Honours) in Nutritional Therapy from the University of West London. As a UK registered nutritionist, she offers one-on-one consultations—both in person and online—and supports men and women with disordered eating patterns, specifically bulimia and binge eating in improving their quality of life. She does this through personalised nutrition, health coaching and yoga.
Karolina is a Master Practitioner with the National Centre of Eating Disorders in the UK and is currently completing a specialisation in nutrition for cancer alongside integrative oncologist Dr. Nina Fuller Shavel as well as a specialisation in nutrition with focus on eating disorders with Emma Hendrics from the Eating Clinic, UK.
